Tweeple's recommendations of good coffee places in Ireland
I'm honored to be tweeting as @Ireland during 28 Jan- 3 Feb 2013, and in one of my deep & meaningful tweets this week I asked people the places where they've had good coffee, or even tea, in Ireland. I said I'd do a blog post of the results- so here they are :-)

We will start with county Kilkenny, because it is the best county where I live.

I've been to the Jarrow Cafe, & it is good, though my top dessert there is the divine chocolate biscuit slice! *digresses, drools*
When Hubby & I are in Kilkenny, we tend to have cake & coffee at either Cafe La Coco or Slice Of Heaven. Neither use my favorite Irish-roasted coffees (Badger & Dodo or Ponticelli) but they are still grand- and both also have divine cakes! (Tips: Slice's coffee is strong, & if you like coconut try Coco's decadent Coco coffee; you won't need a dessert.)
@CaptainBigToe recommended Cafe Sol in Thomastown, and Mount Juilet; which as well as being a very nice place to stay, is also a brilliant place to see Santa in December. Santa must know his coffee!

Glasrai & Goodies is a fab wee shop for anyone who loves fabulous food, and especially fabulous local food!
Next we'll head to county Wexford, where @CaptainBigToe likes In A Nutshell cafe, and The Upper Deck, both in New Ross. Also in co. Wexford:

Waterford is not to be left out, and puts in an appearance with @foxglovelane plumping for Libro Cafe located at the Book Centre in Waterford City.
Remaining in the sunny southeast, in county Carlow we've got a suggestion of a cafe that also won the title for 'Best Scone in Ireland':

@ireland The Humble Bean on Aungier St opposite DBS. Lovely selection of tea & coffee, nice food, friendly staff, not overpriced.Donna
I believe the Humble Bean uses Badger & Dodo, & currently have a cappuccino making champion working there. My Hubby always goes here when in Dublin. I must go! And lastly, we have a Canadian coffee that has migrated to Dublin- who knew! :-)
@ireland tim hortons coffee is a staple here in Canada. When I saw it there in dublin I was so excited. Had to have a cup. It was great!Greg Mergen
So there you are! A sampling of coffee- and tea- favorites in Ireland. Sure, you should try them all!
The Bald Barista, 55 Aungier St, Dublin 2 - The coffee is super and its a great place to take a moment and relax!
